Nurturing the Future of Cricket: BancABC Super 8 Schools Cricket Tournament 2025
The BancABC Super 8 Cricket Tournament 2025 brought together some of the finest schoolboy cricket talent in the region, creating a vibrant platform for competition, growth, and sportsmanship. As a proud co-sponsor, we were honoured to be part of a tournament that celebrates youth development and the enduring values of cricket.
The tournament featured all-boys Under-19 cricket, spanning competitive age groups U19, U15, and U13, and showcased remarkable skill, discipline, and teamwork across all matches. BancABC led the initiative as the main sponsor, with the event standing as a testament to the power of partnership in developing grassroots sport.
At the secondary school level, participating schools included Alpha Academy Zambia, Lomagundi College, Falcon College, CBC, St George’s College, Hellenic Academy, St John’s College, Peterhouse Boys’ School, Prince Edward School, and Wise Owl Marondera. These institutions delivered thrilling performances and demonstrated why school cricket remains a cornerstone of sporting excellence.
Primary school cricket was equally inspiring, with young players from Alpha Academy Zambia, Bryden Country School, Hartmann House, Lomagundi College Primary, Rydings College, St Michael’s Presentation Primary, Twin Rivers, and Westridge Primary School taking to the field with confidence and passion well beyond their years.
Our presence as a co-sponsor reflects our continued commitment to youth development, healthy competition, and investment in the next generation. The BancABC Super 8 Cricket Tournament 2025 was more than just a series of matches—it was a celebration of talent, opportunity, and the bright future of school cricket.
